I don't see a link to this bug that exists in the kde launchpad and I
searched for bugs in the kde launchpad and there is only one that is even
close to the issue and it was filed incorrectly. Could you please provide
me with a bug ID so I can contribute.

When inserting an audio CD into a rom, Amarok recognizes the first disc
you put in from a clean reboot/login scenario. However, every disc you
insert afterwards is updated with the same contents that the initial
disc had. This occurs every time
I have done some further investigation on this issue:
While using the Ubuntu 8.04 Live CD if I stop services:
sudo /etc/init.d/powernowd stop
sudo /etc/init.d/acpid stop
sudo /etc/init.d/acpi-support stop
the system will restart normally.
After fresh install and updates if I stop service:
