Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdebase
When inserting an audio CD into a rom, Amarok recognizes the first disc you put in from a clean reboot/login scenario. However, every disc you insert afterwards is updated with the same contents that the initial disc had. This occurs every time regardless of the disc and never seems to update. This behavior is also exhibited in dolphin although reloading the window sometimes corrects this in all folders but usually just the root folder. Each folder under root (ogg, flac, etc) need to be manually reloaded before the contents will display correctly. Further investigation shows that killing the kio_audiocd process prior to inserting the disc will allow amarok and dolphin to properly update the contents of the disc and represent them as expected.
