SSDs. When libreoffice is installed via snap, opening any of its apps
(Writer, for example) is a multi-second process. I have clocked it
between 3 and 6 seconds. In contrast, the .deb version open almost

Forgetting and reconnecting to the WiFi networks solves the issue.

I updated a Thinkpad T14 AMD Gen 2 from 23.10 to 24.04. Since the
update, WiFi doesn't automatically connect at login or when resuming
from sleep if the network is secured with a password.
It does connect automatically if it finds a remembered open network.

secured WiFi networks, not open ones. It seemed plausible that they are
related, as the password for the WiFi network needs to be retrieved
somewhere (the keyring, I assumed). But I will report a different bug

Yeah, that's right. I see now that the problem is that the window losses focus
when in fullscreen. I guess the game minimizing is a consequence of the loss of

I disabled all extensions but ubuntu-dock (I need to be able to click on
the grid apps icon to trigger the bug). The delay it still there. Also,
it seems to happen under X11 and under Wayland.

I have a Dell XPS 9360 with a FHD screen and a Intel HD620 iGPU, running Ubuntu
20.04. On this system animations should be smooth and at 60fps, but this is not
always the case.

18.0.0~rc4-1ubuntu3) and I still don't have gl acceleration, only llvm
pipe. Are there any other packages on hold?

An update to my laptop's BIOS completely borked my Ubuntu 17.10
installation and I had to upgrade to Ubuntu 18.04 dev.
I don't think I can test the new kernel :/

I ended up updating to Ubuntu 18.04 dev. An update to the BIOS of my
laptop made it completely unstable to the point of not booting most of
the time. Ubuntu 18.04 seems to work fine so far.

Maybe we are facing different bugs. In my case, it does boot, but it
hangs shortly after. If I hurry, I am even able to log in to the
desktop.

After upgrading to linux 4.13.0-36 my laptop hangs shortly after
booting, even before logging in to the desktop. It starts with the
interface being unresponsive but the mouse cursor moving, and shortly
after that the mouse cursor also hangs intermittently and then
permanently.

Alright, done. It is bug #1731484.
Neither ubuntu-bug nor apport-cli worked, but crashed when trying to submit the
.crash file. So, I attached it manually.
