Public bug reported:

I run a moderately modern laptop and a modern desktop, both with NVME
SSDs. When libreoffice is installed via snap, opening any of its apps
(Writer, for example) is a multi-second process. I have clocked it
between 3 and 6 seconds. In contrast, the .deb version open almost
instantly.

This is in Ubuntu 24.04 and I have tested multiple different PCs.
