Same here, Super Tux hangs and freezes in Kubuntu 6.10 when entering the bonus
level in the forest map, and freezes the OS with it. So, no response for
Ctrl-Alt-F1, Ctrl-Esc, Ctrl-Alt-Del, or the laptop led closed. The only way I
chose is to close the laptop manually holding the power key.

But my laptop can not boot anymore in Kubuntu, is there something like a rescue
disk for Kubuntu 6.10?

(before rebooting). It seemed to operate well, but, a lot of things changed to
the feisty version (tty1 - tty6 consoles changed to feisty too). Moreover, I
couldn't shut my computer down, even by going to tty1 and appl
irst one I figured is changing
somehow the theme KDE is working with. Much more, I would like really
not to re-download this again, and I am not really good at linux but I
have a good programming knowledge and a detailed knowledge about MS-DOS
command line. So, in case of any steps please write in details
