Now I would say, that I wrote about this crash when my laptop was on kubuntu (before rebooting). It seemed to operate well, but, a lot of things changed to the feisty version (tty1 - tty6 consoles changed to feisty too). Moreover, I couldn't shut my computer down, even by going to tty1 and applying "sudo shutdown now" or "sudo reboot". I had to turn it off manually, and then I tried to open it again, but the process wasn't completed, even in the recovery mode, which gave me an indication that a crash is happening when loading console and key maps. (Which is I believe, the last thing to be loaded before the GUI opens).
Thanks again, and if you asked me about any details or files, I can support you as I still have the live CD. -- Kubuntu upgrade tool (6.10 to 7.04) crashed https://launchpad.net/bugs/91956 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
