I have the same problem and I think that it is hardware issue. The most
straightforward fix is to blacklist kernel module psmouse to disable the
built-in pointing stick and use an external mouse in a USB port. A more
complicated solution that I am currently using is a small script that
will disable

Installing linux-firmware solved the problem. However, the system still
ocasionally freezes when booting. This happens only in normal boot, not
recovery mode.

reader of my Dell Latitude D420 and keep unmounted. Every time i resume
the system from suspend to ram, the SD card is mounted and Nautilu

to internet. If I suspend the computer with an active connection,
