Confirmed that switching from Wayland to X11 has resolved issue. Still
on Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS. Not sure if anything will change in 24 to address
this in Wayland.

I am also unable to drag music files from Nautilus to Rhythmbox iPod
panel. I have to add these files to my library first, then drag them
over to the iPod section in Rhythmbox. I have also tested dragging from
Rox into Rhythmbox's iPod panel and that does not work either.

bug 317330 is related to a different version of Firefox (3.0), not 3.5.
In fact, the latest comment on that bug suggests an upgrade of Firefox
to 3.5, which would most likely bring that bug inline with this on
I've had this same problem for months after upgrading from edgy to
feisty and have been hitting Ctl+D to bypass.
I'm not sure why this worked, but I was having issues with /dev/hdd. It
would show up fine in /etc/fstab and in vol_id.
I noticed that if I ran blkid, it would NOT show /dev/hdd. Run
