Same here. Not only section but also the tls-cipher setting
from my .ovpn config file were ignored.
Interestingly it does work when using the networkmanager CLI:
nmcli connection import vpn.ovpn
did import everything correctly. Apparently the UI is not using the same
import method as the CLI ..

I am having a very similar problem on Arch Linux: Since upgrading xorg-
intel driver from 2.7 to 2.8, the X server does not start when an
external monitor is connected to my laptop, and some segfault message
appears in Xorg.0.log. Downgrading to 2.7 again "solved" the issue.

The hotkeys are working fine; however, the lenovo-sl-laptop module does
also enable fan control which is not possible with asus-laptop. This is
quite important since a lot of the Lenovo SL series laptops seem to have
firmware bugs (or, at least, annoyances) causing the fan to run
unnecessarily fast
Status update: The upgrade to 2.6.38-8-generic did not resolve the
issue, and also shows that just having the carl9710-firmware does NOT
suffice, I had to again compile the compat-wireless modules for the new
kernel.

found out that I had to install the firmware for carl9170, which is
supposed to be the successor of the (now deprecated) ar9170usb driver.

I hate to say this, but I still have no dbus on startup. I have
libexpat1-2.0.1-4ubuntu1 and dbus-1.2.16-0ubuntu4, and /usr on a separate
partition. I don't get a gdm started, no dbus and nothing that depends on it
(hal, network-manager).
However my problem is slightly better now, since at least

it's on / which is ext3 /dev/sda6. My /usr is located on an

I just ran into this by chance: If you click "about" in the current
tsclient of edgy eft and then want to close the info window that pops
up, you can't do that with the "close" button, which has no effect, but
have to use the window decoration's close function.

Another problem, connected to this one, appears if you choose the same
boot-Partition for ubuntu as for another distro (like I do because of
LVM root-partitions): All the kernels from the other distro appear as
Ubuntu-Kernels, and my original grub-settings are gone.

I can confirm that it works if you do any action to the existing
partition layout, or only a "pseudo-action", like changing the usage of
a partition and then change it back. This makes ubuntu at least
installable, to the insiders ..

Thanks, I'll try that hint. By the way, the error isn't present in the
dapper alternative CD. Also, what I just tested, it works with recent
debian testing installer discs.

I try to install Ubuntu Edgy Beta using LVM partitions, so I downloaded
the alternative install CD. However when I select "Configure the Logical
Volume Manager" at "Partitioning Disks", the display just flashes and
shows up the same page again
This was a bug in madwifi-ng and is fixed in the new release.

scripts) sets the txpower of my wireless network interface to down to 8.
