Sadly the only thing that gets spat out in syslog is: NetworkManager: connection_get_settings_cb(): connection_get_settings_cb: Invalid connection: 'NMSetting8021x' / 'client-cert' invalid: 2 Added as an attachment as requested. Is there some way I can run a more verbose debug from NetworkMana

It certainly seems to be a Dell thing - my D620 exhibits has the exact same issue running 2.6.27-7-generic. Using the PPA kernel solves the problem for me. Good work - this surely needs to go into stock. -- [Intrepid] kacpid and kacpi_notify consumes all CPU after resume https://bugs.launchpad.n

I have this problem as well on a Dell Latitude D620. Lot's of buffer underuns, and dual display with an external VGA is unusable - the external VGA keeps on flicking on and off. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/log# dpkg -l | grep -i intel rc 915resolution 0.5.3-1ubuntu1

Confirmed - and the problem is actually worse: I can't even connect to a EAP TLS WPA1 WLAN on Intrepid (KDE). Doesn't work using the stock NM, so I used the PPA: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/log# dpkg -l | grep -i network-man ii network-manager 0.7~~svn20081018t105859-0ubun

Yes the problem persists in Alpha4. If I give the VM more than ~750MB of RAM VPC doesn't error all the time but the kernel locks at the same point. I suspect VPC is actually the difference when I swap the amount of memory as it won't actually capture in Alt-PrintScreen so perhaps a read herring. t
