I thought my above script was working, but lately it hasn't worked.
So I changed it to this now, disabled then enabled the service and it worked
when I tested it now.
Change the 2 lines above to these

into low power mode with powertop, but I'm not certain about p
Regarding my previous comment, even though my lspci says I have
"RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller", the r8169
kernel module is loaded.

Hi I just want to confirm that I managed to get the utopic virt-manager
etc running on my system without any problems. I needed to add the
following packages: virtinst/utopic ebtables/utopic to make libvirtd
start properly and able to create virbr0.
I'll try out the backport soon. Just at work rig
