Sorry, but when I tell Ubuntu LAMP Server 12.04 to install udisk, it wants to
install all these:
consolekit{a} cryptsetup-bin{a} libatasmart4{a} libck-connector0{a}
libcryptsetup4{a} libdevmapper-event1.02.1{a} libgudev-1.0-0{a}
liblvm2app2.2{a} libpam-ck-connector{a} libpolkit-agent-1-0{a}
The debian bug report 265265 says it was fixed seven years ago in
fp-compiler_1.9.4-5.
I tested today in debian 6.0 with fp-compiler_2.4.0-2 and binutils was missing.
So either it takes more than seven years to get this into stable, or the same
bug is back.

You received this bug notification
Btw. debian got a bug report for this problem years ago
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=265265
and thought it was fixed, but it isn't.
I just checked that their problem is still there and opened a new bug:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=630890
** Bug watch added
Just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.04.2 server and still got this
bug.

Hi,
It is STILL wrong in the html version on the web pages, e.g.
https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/serverguide/C/samba-dc.html
Btw. it would be nice if the pdf and the html versions would tell, on which
revision they are based.
It would be even better if they were updated more often and if some web

Hi,
These changes would fix this bug:
The command "net rpc rights grant ..." and the sentence before it should
be moved from step 3 to step 7 (offtopic note: I think that the note "if
you wish to not use roaming profiles ..." should be moved up within step
3).
The option -U must be inserted (e.g

I don't understand how this explains why the same info is updated in one
variant of the manual, but not in the other. For me this looks like an
automatic script has failed, not like somebody chose which bugs to fix
for which release. Please note I didn't say that not all errors were
fixed, I said t

This is fixed in the pdf variant of the manal, but still wrong in the html

Some lines in the PDF variant of the serverguide are truncated.
This doesn't affect the normal text, but samples of config lines
or commands to be entered.
For example in Section 5 (Samba as PDC) for version 10.04:
add machine script = sudo
I see that this has been corrected in the PDF
https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/serverguide/C/serverguide.pdf
but not in the html online version
https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/serverguide/C/windows-networking.html
Will it just take a while until some cron job runs again, or is this an
error?
