I made the different test for debugging the ACPI in the link you give
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingACPI) and I start on battery.
If I put the option acpi=off in the grub, the SSD do not heat. That mean it is
an ACPI issue ?
For all the others cases, the SSD heat. Is that normal ?

Hi,
I'm using Xubuntu 14.04 with TLP on a Clevo W65 and with a Crucial 120G
SSD.
When I start on AC power source, the mean value of the temperature of the SSD
is around 40°C/45°C. If I remove the AC source (keeping the battery on place),
the mean temperature stay stable.

I have the same problem. But I discover something:
If the shortcut exist before (has been set by defaut), the modification is not
taken into account after restarting. The default shortcut work's even if the
key cominaison is not the default.

When the laptop freeze, i can stop the freeze by log out and log in with
Ctrl+Alt+Del.
