I used the command insert>picture>from file.. to embed the picture into my
document. The file structure was as follows
D:\\A\B\mydocument,odtthe place where I stored my document
D:\\A\\C\mypicture.jpg ..the place where I stored my image.
The above arrangement
I have observed this bug while working Open Office 3.0 under Windows XP.

Inserted image is missing when the file is sent via email. This happens if the
image is in some other directory
