This just hit me this morning. I use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse on
my sony vaios s15 laptop. turrning them off did nothing to stop the cpu
pegging.

Having the document override the users preference for how the viewer
should behave is very broken behavior, and in fact this is not how every
Adobe's PDF viewer behaves (Adobe Reader 8 on windows). I just checked

Binary package hint: evince
Every time I click on an item in the index of a PDF, evince sets the
view mode to "fit page width", I prefer "Best Fit" and would like that
to stick. This is with Evince 2.26.1 on Ubuntu.
