I'd like to +1 Timo's comment. Even after filing a bug, the warning is
printed every time the snap command is run until the bugfix propagates
to the stable repository, which may be months (in this case).
Alternatively, an environment variable to silence these warning would be

I can confirm this bug on my Dell Inspiron 510m with AlpsPS/2 ALPS
GlidePoint touchpad. Downgrading to version 0.99.3-2ubuntu4 fixes the
problem. However, the downgrade triggers bug #327428: some pixels can
not be reached anymore.

My laptop is an Ubuntu Intrepid system with IPv6 enabled, which I use
regularly without problems. Recently, however, the glibc resolver has
been acting strangely after one of my network environments installed the
powerdns DNS server.
Contents of /etc/resolv.conf (from DHCP):

But things are strange after resume in general, for example top now
tells me the CPU is used for 100% while the cumulative process CPU time
is something like 15%. So maybe bluetooth does not work for unrelated
problems.

Although it is good that the package refuses to overwrite local files,
the error does occur during a graphical upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10. The
only message to the user is the failure of the upgrade process. I would
suggest that this issue should be handled more elegantly.
