It worked for a time,but now the touch is only recognised on the upper-left
half of screen, using Unity or KDE on Trusty and Unity on a Utopic's live-DVD;
so: yes there is still a problem ;-)

Ok, so it seems like i was really tired these last days.
The error was still popping on an ubuntu generic kernel (mainline 3.3 too)
and/or latency kernel, but complaining about the rt-kernel.
This rt-kernel was configured based on abogani's, i recompiled one based on
lowlatency (ubuntu's) kernel
I must be too tired, cause i haven't seen the bug complains about my personal
rt-kernel,
so it seems like it's not an Ubuntu-bug, isn't it ?
However here is the oops (even if it's tan "old" one, it's the same text at
each boot in apport-gtk).

I have been having problems with my wifi-card and rfkill, I opened bug 435141.
Maybe, this bug is related so I have tried the patch, I have a dell e4300 with
an interl 53000 AGN.

I have a dell e4300 with a wifi 5300 AGN CARD. After upgrading from Jaunty to
Karmic Alpha6 my wifi card starts always disabled because although my hardware
switch is enabled, rfkill does not detect it and it disables the wifi by
software (if i do a fresh install of Karmic Alpha 6 work
For me "sudo rfkill unblock 0" works but i have to do it each time I start
the machine. It happens after updating in Karmic Alpha 6. With the live cd
works.

I have a similar problem, it happened me when I updated from Jaunty to
Karmic Alpha 6. The point is that if i boot with the live cd the wifi

Finally I have found how to make run the wifi, using rfkill.
rfkill initially shows:

say "random", i would say "always after a few seconds"

i forgot to attach my grub's menu.lst. here it is, if it might help!
my /etc/fstab is as follow:

folder ! hmm .. More, when i try to "set time and date" an
non-less beautiful "You are not allowed to access the system configuration" is
displayed .. even if sudo is well configured.
"sudo chown isi.isi /home/isi" and "sudo chmod -R 755 /home/isi"
