Binary package hint: gcalctool
In gcalctool documentation provided with Ubuntu 10.10 there is bug in
documentation. There is written Gcalctool doesn't support complex
numbers, but with this version of gcalctool it is clearly wrong. At
least you can do basic arithmetic actions
I believe it is fixed in Deluge 1.3.1

propose gnome-desktop-manager (GDM), if problem is low graphics mode.

I think this should be solved now, though as I can't reproduce it -
there is no way to check.
Brian Sutherland did some packaging changes recently, and I think he
mentioned some fixes.

Yes it still is. Apparently it's the same for my wired connection, just
that the wired connection get's reconnected after it fails (so i get
disconnected+reconnected every 60 seconds) while the the network manager
stops trying to get wireless the first time it fails.

The "Connection refused" errors were averted by adding myself into
"pulse-rt" group (sudo adduser $USER pulse-rt). However machine plays no
sound at all: no login prompt drums, no welcoming chimes, absolutely
nothing.

H/W reset had to be done after system hung up right after stopping
(ctrl+c) sox (sox -w -r 37000 -c 2 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp2 -t ossdsp

Software that I am developing (namely schooltool) depends on a newer
version of setuptools. Setuptools 0.6a9 is too old to install setuptools
0.6c3 locally thus without having root account on the machine it is very
difficult to make python use setuptools installed by ez_setup.
