There seems be a patch on here:

for kernel version 5.4-rc2, so this sound card is theoretically supported, if I
am understanding this correctly.

I installed linux-oem-20.04 and also turned on focal-proposed updates
and did apt-get update && apt-get upgrade.
Though -- this was only enough to get it to recognize the speaker. The
pitch/video speed is still wrong, so it's not really quite usable.
I should correct something I said earlier: vi
Update: I was able to get the speakers to make sound by installing
linux-oem and by allowing updates from focal-proposed.
As expected, alsamixer now shows a lot of options. There are still a few
issues:
1) The audio is stuttery, most playback is too fast (e.g. YouTube or MP3s), and
