I have an upgraded from gutsy to hardy system. When ever it try to push the button on my dvd drive it will not open. If I try to unmount it with nautilus it errors out. I have version gnome-volume-manager (2.22.1-1ubuntu6). I tried to reinstall it from the alternet image I downloaded. (I used up

I have a wusb54gs and I used the how to also. I did have a problem with it not restarting at login. What I did to fix it was to add this line to /etc/rc.local "ifconfig wlan0 up" without the quotes and I have had no problems since. I am using 7.10 with all patches and latest kernel. -- Links
