Update: I just tested 3.12 RC7 kernel. Sound output is fixed (doesn't
need xrandr to be enabled but only "radeon.audio=1") but video playback

I can confirm that. Choosing other audio output than HDMI immediately
makes video playback normal. It is strange that removing the
"radeon.audio=1" parameter and updating GRUB, still after reboot
Pulseaudio shows HDMI audio output even though it is disabled by default
as far as I know.

When typing something into the dash search box, there is flickering on
the right and bottom edges of the dash box (not in maximized state)
Also there is a square area with blur effected transprency at the middle
left of the screen

Very severe problem. novice users will never handle such a problem. They
will end up with an old google-chrome for example and their paid app (ex
stormcloud) will never update again.
That problem prevents me from suggesting any distribution update and of
course with such a small support period for
same problem on Ubuntu 12.04.02. purge and reinstallation does not solve
anything.

i fopund it. It is not xorg bug. It is xfce4-xkb-plugin bug. When i add
the "keyboard layout" on the upper table, the problem appear as i
described. When i remove it from upper bar, the problem stopping.
I checked it many times.
