Updated to the latest version. Thing got worst! New error message.
After runing alsa reload, the dmesg:

Thanks alot Nadim. I hope we find a solution, HP seem's to shovel it
away since it's only affecting Linux. I'll continue to try getting
information on the BIOS with the support team, but I think we must try
to find something else than a bios update.

The same happen for me. I was thinking that may be linked to the "speed
boot" option of windows. I deactivated it, but the message stay the
same.

Yes, your right, we should contact them...

no. There are allot of activity on their drivers website right now.
They now seem's to split the BIOS from other drivers explicitly, then
they have added "supported Window's platform".
@Mark It's the right one. The firmware is located in the intel folder it
as the name IntcSST2.bin. But, even if you have it, the bug will prevent
you to load it. You can look in your dmesg. The message will change
from "no driver" to a message saying that you cannot load the driver

@Mark Ashworth: The Intel sound drivers for the audio cards works.
They had a problem, but they corrected it (look in the XPS 13 case
linked in the description). You can download it on the web, the drivers
is in non free firmware for ubuntu, I think.
