@Mark It's the right one. The firmware is located in the intel folder it
as the name IntcSST2.bin. But, even if you have it, the bug will prevent
you to load it.  You can look in your dmesg. The message will change
from "no driver" to  a message saying that you cannot load the driver
because the id doesn't  fit. Remember  you wont have more sound... If
this bug is like the one on the DELL XPS 13, you will have the right
driver for a baddly loaded hardware from the BIOS. And the BIOS is
from... guess who? HP. So yes, this will depend on the HP good will.

At the other who have the problem. So keep calling the service  and
signaling the bug. That will help the cause.

At ubuntu debug team. I now really think this bug is not from you, I
will  just wait you confirm  that it's  not, and change  it the won't
fix.
