On my platform, is missing the speaker internal port and the jack port.
I tested the different workaround without success, only the HDMI output is
available no analog device.

I gave the same problem on Gutsy.
Gdm ignores whatever I use into xorg.conf and keep a resolution that my screen
does not support.
After logging (blindly), everything is fine for the user that has setup his
resolution manually in the preferences.

I have an ATI Radeon 9250 PCI card in a Dell PowerEdge SC430.
When a 3d Screensaver starts up the gnome session 'crashes' and I get back to
the login screen.
Found this line in syslog at the same time the 'crash' happened.
