accepting BAD certificates which are my self-signed certificates.

It looks like since we use iwl kernel modules, ad-hoc + wep does not
work anymore.
Well, it does work sometime, but it can take hours before connecting.
On the other hand, non ad-hoc networks wrk like a charm.

yep, but I believe the help should be accessible through ssh too :)
And I don't believe DISPLAY is platform independant thus checking if gdk return
