I built a xulrunner-1.9 with "Conflicts: j2re1.4 (<< 1:0)" and got the
following results when trying to install various j2re1.4 packages:

I successfully built a sun-j2re1.4 package with the patched java-

Unison is at version 2.13.16 in all Ubuntu releases back to dapper (see
http://packages.ubuntu.com/unison). Except intrepid and hardy-
backports.
I'm guessing you have hardy-backports enabled on your 8.04 amd64
machine. If so then:
- disable that repository
- run 'apt-get update'
- run 'ap
hanks.

A default install will repsond to pings but that's basically it as far
