I've the same problem when using tsclient / ubuntu 8.10 - up2date- /
Dell Latitude D630 ( 1200x800 ) .
When a VNC/Windows Remote window appears, if the host selection list
box overlaps it, the entire screen freezes, I can move the mouse but
clicking anywhere doesn't acts.

Another confirmation comment. From livecd ( 7.10 x86 ) I was able to
scan wireless networks, after installing on the computer it can't enable
wireless with message 'phy2 -> rt2500usb_enable_radio: Error - Register
initialization failed'
