I've the same problem when using tsclient / ubuntu 8.10 - up2date- / Dell Latitude D630 ( 1200x800 ) .
When a VNC/Windows Remote window appears, if the host selection list box overlaps it, the entire screen freezes, I can move the mouse but clicking anywhere doesn't acts.
