I built a new VM and the "problem" seemed to occur there too.
However, I don't think there is actually a bug. The updates did
eventually finish, even though that "configuring grub-pc" screen took a
long time to go away. I thought it was hung or not responding, but after
several minutes it did go
I installed 10.4 twice in the same VM and it did it both times. Haven't
tried it in a new VM though. I'll try that and let you know.
