[Bug 336578] Re: Right-click menu "list columns" appears at wrong position

2009-06-22 Thread D. Michael McIntyre
I created a bug against Rosegarden on our own tracker in an attempt to underscore the importance of KMidimon to the Linux audio community. This is an important diagnostic tool that probably does not see much day to day use, but is highly valueable when called for in order to investigate a problem w

[Bug 122042] Re: mplayer built without JACK support

2007-09-23 Thread D. Michael McIntyre
I just had a look at the web page for the Gutsy package, and it seems it will ship without JACK support too. Just wanted to note that for the record... -- mplayer built without JACK support https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/122042 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubun

[Bug 122042] mplayer built without JACK support

2007-06-24 Thread D. Michael McIntyre
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mplayer ldd /usr/bin/mplayer|grep jack returns nothing, and, consequently, using mplayer -ao jack is broken. Fixing this is as simple as building the package (fakeroot debian/rules binary) in an environment the JACK -dev package(s) installed and present.

[Bug 70308] new upstream version 1.4.0 available

2006-11-04 Thread D. Michael McIntyre
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rosegarden Debian has already packaged this up, so your job is probably easy. This version fixes many bugs, and includes many new features. It is the most significant release since 1.0, and it would be nice to put it into more hands out of the box. (I

[Bug 36801] Re: Rosegarden does not start successfully by default in Dapper.

2006-11-04 Thread D. Michael McIntyre
Just to note from the Rosegarden development team... We do not consider "JACK isn't running" issues to be bugs with Rosegarden, and neither should Ubuntu. JACK must be running in order for certain optional features to work, and anyone consulting Rosegarden's documentation should be aware of this
