Hi Thanks for the update. But I no longer have this hardware ( it was stolen

I am facing this issue in Gutsy 7.10
When I enable the Ubuntu restricted driver for nVIDIA and reboot the screen
becomes blank. The only way to recover is to edit the /etc/X11/xorg.conf and
set the driver back to default - nv.
