I am speculating this is a VM firmware issue. I ran the test on a Noble
host system and was unable to recreate the issue. I then used the OVMF
firmware from the latest version in Plucky and was able to recreate the
failure on first boot behavior.
For reference:
- Working install: ovmf 2024.02-2ubu
It's a nice to have since all carried debian/patches are already in the
new package. Furthermore, sof-bin-2024.09 starts to support the new
Intel PTL and AMD ACP 7.0 but current package for plucky still stays at
2024.06. We are expected to carry more debian/patches and more SRUs to
support coming n
5.15.0-131-generic on ubuntu 22.04 is on top of the mainline kernel version
5.15.168
Ubuntu-5.15.0-132 is based on upstream kernel 5.15.173.
There're indeed lots of `udf` related patches. Will check if there's already a
