It's a nice to have since all carried debian/patches are already in the
new package. Furthermore, sof-bin-2024.09 starts to support the new
Intel PTL and AMD ACP 7.0 but current package for plucky still stays at
2024.06. We are expected to carry more debian/patches and more SRUs to
support coming new platforms and audio configurations which are already
supported in the latest 2025.01-1.

Pros:
  - Support new Intel PTL and AMD ACP 7.0. We can have less efforts for the
coming new 2025 platforms
  - Remove unnecessary patches which are already supported.
  - v2.11 starts to optimize audio processing with enhanced render and capture
pipelines. v2.12 continues this trend by optimizing multiple components' HIFI5
support.

Cons:
  - There may still be undiscovered issues in certain hardware environments or
usage scenarios which we still need fix and patches.
