This package was previously merged but it can now be synced from Debian
unstable (main).
Rationale:
The prior Ubuntu changes were as follows:
* Add Build-depends for xorg transition: x11proto-xext-dev, libxt-dev
* Add libxext-dev to Build-Depends
The first two Build-Depends additions, x11-proto

the documentation on the MOTU pages about syncs and am a little unclear
on what I need to document here, but I will stop in #ubuntu-motu and
ask. Thanks!

Please upload merge wmbinclock-0.5-5 (universe) from debian unstabl
I can confirm that the Debian unstable package builds in a hardy
pbuilder on i386 and runs fine.
Should I close this bug and open a new one for a sync?

Michael -
Thanks for your review and comments. I did not try doing a sync,
actually. I saw this pending merge on MOM and the changes that needed
to be merged in debian/control. The debian package does not include
Build-Depends for x11proto-xext-dev and libxt-dev and I see from the
changelog tha

Jeremy, thanks for your reply. I am using the standard ubuntu edgy
binaries for mythtv, transcode, ffmpeg, et al, and installing transcode
and the xvid libraries allows me to rip at the good and medium settings.
I understand your point on the suggests, and maybe that is indeed the
right way to go
Apart from the directory path problem, which I also ran into, two other
issues with ripping with Good or Medium settings is that the mythdvd
calls transcode which in turn uses xvid to compress the video. If
transcode and the xvid libraries are not installed, it will rip the dvd
but not transcode.
