Using subset OTFs is suggested for OS exept MacOS and Windows by the
README file from Source Han Sans (same as Noto Sans CJK).
However, as I stated previously, I believe using Super OTC is a way to
find where the apps in Linux world which has some problems dealing with
this "super font," and that
I support to specify font weight directly in fontconfig.
And It is OK to specify which font you want including font weight, so I
think it is a normal usage case not a workaround anyway.

According to the README pdf file (https://github.com/adobe-fonts/source-
han-sans/raw/release/SourceHanSansReadMe.pdf) of Adobe Source Han Sans,
and the experience within LibreOffice, I have to say that Super OTC file
is not well supported in Linux desktop.
It is suggested using Regional Subset OT
Fedora 21 only applies Adobe Source Han Sans / Noto Sans CJK to Chinese
locale (zh_CN and zh_TW).
Fedora does not use 69-language-selectors-*.conf because they only set
one major font for one locale, and they write the relevant configuration
in the corresponding fontconfig fille for the major font

packages and configurations which using "Droid Sans Fallback" instead of
"Droid Sans" today, everything seems to be good. Below are my testing

of CJK part, while Adobe holds the copyright, licensed under Apache v2)

talking about it is better to use Western serif font listed before AR PL
UMing for serif font family.
69-language-selector-zh-tw.conf does not affect the result about serif
font family strongly. It is always using AR PL UMing first

After my testing, the good news is that insatalling fonts-droid will
provide better visual appearence and more readible than WQY zen-hei in
Chinese charaters.
However, 69-language-selector-zh-tw.conf has a weird UNACCEPTABLE side
effect. It matches DejaVu Serif for "sans-serif" and "monospace" f
I will check that if the -zh-tw.conf provided in raring (which put Droid
Sans Fallback into first one) works fine or not if we install Droid Sans
Fallback recently.

After investigation, there are some desktop files use "Product name" +
"Generic name" for Name entry already.
For example, "Tomboy Notes", "Firefox Browser" and "Shotwell Photo
Manager". So I think that is it better that the Name entry be "Writer
Word Processer"? (according to Mozilla Firefox => F
The Name tiltle is composed of "Brand name" + "Product name". We translators
cannot translate both of them.
Plus, there is already Generic Name which is translated to "文書處理器" in desktop
file.
I don't know if it is appropriate to append something else for Name
entry in desktop file or not; it nee

Test without Chinese (Taiwan) translation is OK. But I don't think you
have to test in LANG=C, because this file should only be provided to the
users who choose to use Chinese (Traditional) support in Language
support. (Or maybe I am wrong?!)
