Thanks, I can't now check this because my machine installed the latest
nvidia driver(..177..? for higher display
resolutions) at the same time, and asked me to reboot. Ever since then
the boot sequence fails to complete, I get
the correct display resolution(1440 x 900) at the start, enablin
