I quickly tried to build the latest plugin and I'm getting "configure:
error: "A JRE home directory could not be found."" Is there a specific
configure command I should run to have it overwrite the plugin provided
by Ubuntu?

X fails to start when IBM TP T22 is on batte
Xfce vs KDE does not make a difference so my second guess is the battery
level needs to be about 90% for it to fail. I think I was able to get
it to boot while it was failing by going into failsafe, dropping to
root, executing "shutdown now", and then canceling when the menu came up
but I can not

To add to the report. When the problem occurs apparently the computer
completely freezes (I thought hitting the power button made it shutdown,
but it seems I did hold it down for 5 seconds). I also did not see the
problem happen while booting into xfce, but I'm going to confirm this
and report ba

After installing Kubuntu 8.10 my T22 laptop fails to boot while on
battery. It will pass the Kubuntu splash screen however afterwords it
will only show a black screen. The laptop will boot just fine if
plugged in and has full batter power and if I unplug it while it is
