that it's a snap. MAAS is a confined snap, so upgrading the postgres
package on the host system shouldn't have any effect at all. If it does

I'm thinking that we could re-use the 'allow_dns' flag on subnets. If
it's False, we shouldn't listen on an address in that subnet.
I think it should be safe, since AFAIK, allow_dns is only used to
determine whether the address should be returned in the DHCP

1) Yes. We have two Dell R630 machines, natasha and opelt. The former
(natasha) doesn't boot, while the latter (opelt) does boot. I've
attached the lshw output for them both. They do have different CPUs, for
examples.

I can't attach any logs, since the system doesn't boot up enough to show
anything useful.

window. Then I switch to another virtual desktop, and when I switch back
to the one with the browser and terminals, the terminals are now

When I open up a new xterm window on a blank desktop, it gets placed on
the left side, right by the Launcher bar. It seems it's placed a bit too
much left, though, since the Launcher bar gets hidden. When opening up a
normal Terminal (again on a clean desktop) its window get p
lso doesn't
help much switching from a browser to a terminal.

I was going to say that if you have multiple terminals open, the task
switcher shows only one of them. However, I just figured out that you
can choose different ones by using the arrow keys.
However, it still feels like a regression of how it used to be. I have

I just upgraded from maverick to natty. Before the upgrade, update-grub
was working, but now it fails with:
error: superfluous RAID member (2 found).

I can't seem to reproduce this segmentation fault anymore, so hopefully
it has been fixed by some update. I still have the same symptoms now and
then, but that seems to be a known bug in Unity, where it doesn't
interact nicely with the screen saver.
