I am having this problem too, with the Xine backend in Phonon. If I try
to switch to the Gstreamer backend, however, Amarok segmentation faults
every time I start it as described in

You're correct. Firefox was working but I had the same password issue
with Gwibber and Chrome. As it turns out, Firefox was remembering the
username/password combination while the username I was trying in Gwibber
was had a typo in it. This bug can be closed out too.

This problem has gone away for me after upgrading to Amarok 2.2.2 and
KDE SC 4.4.1 from the Kubuntu backports PPA.

I am having the same problem. Running Amarok 2.2.0 on Kubuntu 9.10
x86_64. In my case I'm not using a music device, I just have my entire
collection ripped in ogg stored on a hard drive.

Thanks for the update Bryce. I've updated the driver but continue to
