Well, I have to withdraw this one. It turns out that the observed behavior has nothing to do with the Ubuntu update procedure. The problem occurs if I don't save my tgif files in my home folder /home/mydir. If I use any subdirectory like /home/mydir/whathaveyou/whatever/, then the export does not

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tgif My latest update with adept caused tgif no longer being able to "print" (export) bitmap images such as XPM or (with the help of the netpbm package) GIF, PNG or JPG. The saved images have always a size of zero bytes. It worked fine before I did the up
