My C640 actually resumed from suspend tonight with the latest build of
Karmic, albeit with a kernel oops message. I reported the bug in a

because configuring GRUB2 is different from the previous version. I

several other ACPI problems that may be preventing the system from

I booted the new 2.6.22-13.40 kernel. It still hard locks on boot when
my Netgear MA401 is plugged in. Come on guys, Debian's 2.6.22 kernel
boots fine, which means one of the Ubuntu patches to Debian's kernel is

When a torrent file is launched from any browser, Deluge opens, but
fails to recognize that the user is opening a new file. I'm not sure if
this is a MIME issue (Ubuntu bug), or an issue with Deluge itself

I can't boot the 2.6.19 kernel on my machine. But after it freezes or
drops into busybox, my drive also makes a loud noise. I actually thought
it was one of my optical drives at first, but neither have a disc
loaded.
The idea of that sound coming from a HDD is a little frightening.

menu, when other CD/DVD burning applications, like K3B, GnomeBaker, and
Serpentine are filed in "Applications/Sound & Video"?
Actually, for the sake of accuracy, I believe they should all be filed
under "A

The package for grip is not installable in Edgy because it depends on
libvte4, and libvte4 is, I believe, being replaced by libvte9.
Installing libvte4 is not possible because it depends on a version of
libvte-common that is no long in the repositories.
