you're right, it is a dup of bug 901180.
I cannot reproduce the crash but 'sudo apt-get remove vsftpd' return like the
bug:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done

0 upgraded, 0 newly install

I had the same issue with same configuration.
I fixed it by adding libswt-mozilla-gtk-3659.so under
/usr/lib/xulrunner-addons/ after downloading it for 64 bit.
Then I had a second issue not finding libxpcom.so.
The issue was related to xulrunner verion. I have 2.0.
This one was fixed by downgradi
I have same config as Vogon Zarniwoop and had an issue with libxpcom.so but
when using eclipse.
I manage to fix it. See my post at
