Same issue here.
Adding this to options + cold boot seems to have fixed it.

Just got the same bug. "Solved" it -- and I mean the most general,

As an absolute beginner, having zero programming knowledge, how can I
implement the fix on my computer?

When you right click on a picture and choose 'Send to' you get the option to
'Scale contraint'.
Choose 'width' -> (for example) 800
Next step fill in a emailaddress (no compresssion!) and click send (By the way,
a better name for the button will be 'Next').

My fix for this was to remove firefox + xulrunner completely, re-
installing older version of xulrunner (1.9.2) and gnome-integration.
This fix the problem for me. Probably not the best solution (i'm without
firefox), but google's chrome browser is replaces firefox nicely.

The last comment on the above bug states that it has been fixed. If this
is really true, why is not working on kubuntu? Underlying 2 both distro

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-mouse
sometimes karmic (64bit) ignores all mouse clicks on dialog buttons. The
buttons "light" up indicating a click event, but nothing happens.
Accessing the same button through the keyboard seems to work. I never
had any such problem

I don't mind if they fix this in KDE 4. Just that this fix should also
be back-ported to KDE 3.5. I don't see me using KDE 4 soon (not until it
actually becomes stable, and usefull). Wonder if this "bug" has been
solved in Pidgin. It may be time to ditch Kopete if this is the case.
