** Description changed: I have a Huawei E220 USB modem. It worked in 2.6.28-11-generic (My First Jaunty Kernel on fresh Installation) but not working in 2.6.28-15-generic (after update). It is detected on both kernels, but even i can connect on both kernels, there are several problems on 2.6.28-15: 1. Even though it can connect, i cannot access or connect to anything. The modem keeps stalled, as if there is no connection at all. 2. After the connection has been established, I cannot disconnect it from network manager. So, i have to unplug it instantly from the USB port if I want to disconnect from the net. Note 1 : It works prefectly from my Windows Vista Home Premium on the same system. Note 2 : I am curently using 2.6.28-11-generic when typing this report - Computer : + Computer : HP Pavilion dv2000 (dv2116wm) AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6 GHz Windows Vista Home Premium & Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 (Last Update on Aug 23, 2009) [lsusb] Bus 002 Device 006: ID 12d1:1003 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.
