I also get this when opening or closing random windows recently - and
mostly notice that because for me, it's immedately followed by a unity-
killing segfault.

Happens to me too, on all available nvidia driver versions (current, 185
from x-swat, 176) except the old 96.
With 96 drivers, most stuff works, but dash still causes the freeze, and
occasionally alt-tab as well.

Actually if you scroll down to the bottom of config settings, there's an
"Apply" button that lets you generate the certificate, which gixes the
problem.

The NetworkManager in Karmic fails to make CNU-680 USB broadband modem
work.
This used to work in Jaunty out-of-the-box. The device still works if
connected via wvdial.

This is what i get connecting the device with wvdial. Note that i'm
currently posting via that very modem.
The dead NM in the tray is stil annoying, tho. It used to "just work"
without any 1337, i miss that. :'/
