memtest from ubuntu 20.04.1 installer (memtest-5.01) freezes after two

Warnings don't happen with mainline kernel 4.2.0-040200-generic.
Upgrading BIOS (from 1.13 to 1.15) didn't help.

Happens also in Ubuntu-14.04.3 (Same version of galculator).
This is the place causing segmentation fault, and here is easy fix (not
sure what is breaks).

This seems to be locale issue. Mine is "LANG=fi_FI.UTF-8".
In case somebody encounters same issue with another locale, solution:

This happens me too.
Always reproducible, steps:
a) start computer
b) verify that Xorg is using some 0.7% CPU
c) lock the screen
d) login back
-> Xorg uses 97 ... 105% CPU
Wait over ten minutes and it will not cool down.
('sudo killall Xorg' helps)

I created new user and bug didn't triggered. Then I copied .bashrc and
bug triggered. With bisecting I found one row which destroys bash-
completion for make.

Steps:
Create very simple Makefile

Gives error "bash: set: posix: inv
I encountered the same with external fat32 disk.
I tried it couple of times and got one more error:

Happens on Thinkpad t42 with Ubuntu 12.04.03.
With alsamixer -> 'F6' -> "29 ThinkPad Console Audio Control" I can see
current level of hardware mixer and that hotkeys are working (I can also
hear they really affcets volume level). But there are no on-screen-
notification.
Same with brightness.
