For upgrades from oracular -> plucky, I am not sure this is just about
missing dependencies.
On a fresh Kubuntu 24.10 installation, I initially ran this to confirm
the issue:
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ do-release-upgrade -d -m desktop -f DistUpgradeViewKDE

Oh, sorry for not checking that. I had fully updated my system at the
time, but it appears that at some point linux-image-generic got
uninstalled, meaning I didn't get the latest kernel. This is now fixed
and I'm running the latest kernel. Unfortunately, I'm still able to

client from working, from an annoying error message in the logs.

I believe curtin is failing to install because `lsblk` is returning
empty output.
I installed Plucky on a P9 VM and indeed I get no output when I execute
`lsblk` (see screenshot)
