Looks I'm getting same eefect with newest releases of Ubuntu and evdev drivers
(tried alot of combos,throughout 2012 year).
Simply, using transformation matrix with evdev driver wich inverts, scales or

It's been over 2 years and this problem still has not been fixed using
the latest version 0.99.6-2 in The Quantal Quetzal (current stable

I find this to be a general problem in Ubuntu, ie the
close/minimize/maximize buttons are quite hard to hit accurately with a
mouse on a hires screen, but they certainly are near-to-completely-
unusable on the nexus 7's touch screen.

Hmm. I also set my Firefox and chrome up to match their default
configuration on all other OS's, ie so that backspace works as the back
key (in FF it's just setting browser.backspace_action = 0, but in chrome
you need a plugin). I just find it much more convenient than having to
search for two keys
@Alessio -- if PortMIDI were compiled without the PM_CHECK_ERRORS then
it would handle errors gracefully (returning an error code) instead of
calling exit(-1) and killing the process. Is there a way to change how
Debian compiles PortMIDI to build without this symbol? Thanks!

mode for pr.write, but it was also failing in my lxc container for a _second_

The problem is, Ubuntu installs grub-efi if the pc is in uefi mode but

qemu-utils installs dangling symlink in precise
To mana
I couldn't find the bug without installing the linux-image-extra packages.
However, my desktop is barely usable without said packages, so I had to
installed them anyway.
I've found through bisection that the bug is not present in 3.4.0-5.11, though
it is on 3.5.0-1.1.
I tried to do a commit bis

Everything has been fixed except there is an issue with the latest
google-mock as attempting to run the aptitude build tests fail when
trying to find gtest. I can build/test aptitude successfully in Debian
Sid and I did notice a few changes between Debian's google-mock and
