Some locales present as data, but entries in SUPPORTED are missing
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/362726
Public bug reported:
The following locales are present as data, but don't have corresponding

* de_LI
* eo
* eu_FR
* ia
* uz_UZ (is actually UTF-8, not ISO-8859-1)
* wal_ET
The data attached SUPPORTED.diff has been tested with the test-locales

Hi Evan,
Yeah I was surprised something this obvious was broken in an RC - but
I guess Xen is not used much with Ubuntu.
Actually that might make me drop Ubuntu for now and stick with Debian
... although that sucks too since Deb is notoriously ancient with
everything.
As an alternative quick fix,

That would be because ubuntu-release-notes is not Ubuntu. It *just*
refers to the release notes. As Steve said, they are located at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/JauntyJackalope/ReleaseNotes#Lock-ups. This
issue has been documented in the release notes, and thus, the fix for
the release notes has been

Hi srimalj,
I think this bug is a duplicate. Many video flickering bugs have been
reported concerning ATI graphics cards on Ubuntu 8.10.
As I am too tired to search for them on launchpad right now, the solution was
to add:
Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"
