On krb5 KDC databases with more than a few hundred principals,
operations can enter an infinite loop in the database library. This
affects both read and write operation

- In some conditions, propagating a kerberos database to a slave KDC server or
performing other database operations can stall. As we've investigated the
issue, it looks like a database with more than a few hundred principals is very

This problem is broader than slave KDCs; it can potentially affect any
write operation on a KDC with sufficiently many (more than a few
hundred) principals, causing database corruption or denial of service.

I confirm that the packages at

fix the problem for Trusty amd64, based on the test case in comment #1.

Test case:
On Ubuntu 14.04 on amd64, install krb5-admin-server and krb5-kdc.
kdb5_util -W -r T create -s

But for whatever reasons, UKai is showing as the default font in Chrome
(I haven't touched the font settings in Chrome.) When I checked the
Advanced Font Settings for "Traditional Han" script, standard/serif
/sans-serif are using default font but the preview is using UKai font.
Umm, I just checked
"fc-match -a 'sans-serif'" shows that ukai.ttc is before uming.ttc and
after Droid Sans. DroidSansFallbackFull.ttf is before ukai/uming.ttc.
ukai (AR PL UKai) should be after uming.

The display language is still English (unchanged.)The weird part is
that fc-match returns "AR PL UMing TW". Let me know if I should still
try language-selector-common 0.129.2 and language-selector-gnome 0.129.2
and update in the other bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1335482.
$ sudo locale
It seems like that this is affecting Trusty as well. I was trying to
add some IME for Traditional Chinese and this was the direction I took:
- Leave desktop manager untouched (Unity)
- sudo gnome-language-selector
- Click "Install/Remove Languages"
- Check "Chinese (traditional)"
- Restart
